Research around Jam Night visuals

The simplicity and grid structure works well in this poster, I don't like the image but the colours work well.

This doesn't work well. I think its the centre aligned text that makes it look amateurish and the google image guitar and use of quite a 'fat' font for body copy.

This is beautiful, simple but detailed, very crisp and clear. Much more visually engaging and high impact than the previous images.

I quite like this because it looks friendly and welcoming, it looks as though the people that are running the jam night wont look down on you if you can't play as well as them. although the information is a bit jumbled.

I think this serves its purpose well, it's eye catching and exciting but it also looks quite typical and what you would expect to see. It looks like it is aimed at a younger audience, mainly due to the bold colours and irregular font, this may deter older musicians from attending the night.

I like the style of these gig posters that have been done by Furturtle show prints and Dan Stiles, they are a lot more engaging and attention grabbing than some of the more complicated posters.
