Good Vs Bad Websites

Bad Website Design



  • Loads of different fonts being used
  • Lack of continuity across the page
  • Colours that clash and have no relation to the content
  • Strange brick pattern for background
  • Lack of any direction or type hierarchy

  • Really long lines of text make it an effort to read
  • Bad, 'fencey' texture for background
  • 3D blue arrow looks poor
  • Links table looks like it's not part of the website
  • No type hierarchy at all

  • The title type looks poor along with the montage
  • lots of grey surrounding a small box
